How Often Should I get WCT done?

Like any treatment, people usually are willing to try because they have identified a problem (a symptom or condition) or because they have a health-need which isn’t met (being more energetic, falling ill less often, etc…)

Here are the main reasons why people get WCT done:

–        The experience an acute or isolated symptom

–        They have been diagnosed with a chronic illness

–        They would like to maintain a good level of well-being

–        They wish to discover WCT

Observations made on thousands of patients through the years helped to set up few guidelines based on the health needs patients would like to meet.

  • Acute or isolated symptoms

For the acute or isolated symptoms, usually very few sessions are needed: 1-3 sessions. This the average course of treatment to get better. The time between each session depends on the area affected and can vary between 3 to 8 weeks.

  • Chronic illnesses or symptoms

Medically, the chronicity (or acuity) of a symptom or condition is define by a its length: less than 6 months is said acute and it becomes chronic over 6 months.

In fact, chronic conditions can:

–        Become disabling in your daily routine (migraines, arthritis, IBS, depression, fibromyalgia, etc…)

–        Be a threat for your life if not balanced for a long period of time (diabetes, HBP, vital organs failure, etc…)

–        Lead to low self-esteem and affect your whole mental well-being (acne, mood swings, eczema, psoriasis, chronic pain, etc…)

–        Be a barrier to reach your life goals (PCOS, difficulty to conceive, anxiety, etc…)

In these cases, the purpose of the WCT is to allow you to carry on your life reducing as much as possible the barriers / symptoms inherent to the condition you suffer from. WCT will provide a partial or total relief of your symptoms as well as a greater well-being.

Patients with chronic conditions will first be recommended a certain course of treatment. After few sessions, when they will be well aware of the benefits of WCT on their symptoms and lifestyle. They will then become the best placed to know when they need another session.

Usually, after a course of few sessions, patients get a session 2 to 3 times a year as chronic conditions require regular treatment.

Also, patients affected with chronic conditions may see their symptoms varying a lot depending of the stress level, food and drink intakes, associated conditions, and sometimes even the weather, etc… So, advice on herbal medicines and small changes in your diet can be provided to help you even more.

Disclaim:

Please note, patients with chronic are NOT advised to stop their medication without the approval of their GP or consultant. For patients dealing with chronic conditions, WCT is considered as a complementary therapy rather than alternative. However, seeing your symptoms improving, your GP or consultant will be happy to readjust your treatment.

  • Discover WCT or maintain a certain level of well-being

Patients who are curious to discover WCT and don’t have any specific symptoms, can have a session when they feel it. They will still have a consultation as sometimes patients don’t listen to their body that much which can make them unaware of few things that can be improved.
